Dr. Tom was a faculty member at Stanford University's Department of Emergency Medicine and received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where he completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also was a Kaiser Fellow in health policy and management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Tom has participated in numerous medical organizations, including the International Medical Corps (Bosnia) and Emergency International.

Dr. Tom is joining Kintsugi at a time when advancements in AI/ML and healthcare have never been more exciting or important.  We’re on a mission to scale access to mental healthcare with world-class leaders who represent the makeup of the people we serve. We are excited to have Dr. Tom as a partner in building our vision of the future of healthcare.

“Prentice is a profound addition to Kintsugi’s leadership and vision. His unique clinical expertise having served as the voice of practitioners across 25% of California hospitals, teaching emergency medicine at Stanford, and passion for delivering quality care will be invaluable as we navigate scale across healthcare. I’m proud to take this journey with Prentice and welcome him to the team.”
